    Show us your.... numberplates?!

Might be a bit of a controversial topic for a forum, so maybe it'd be better in the members section, but I'm interested to see what style of numberplate people have gone for on their car as IMO they can change how the whole car looks.

Mine are a bit too normal for me, but I don't want anything that stands out too much as being illegal, so wondering what people have gone for, and if they have any details on where they got it from, style, spacing, size etc etc.

As said, mine are plain jane with a nice GB logo at the side.

mines just a standard plate that i attacked with a hacksaw so now its smaller but the letters and spaces are still legal and sits nicely in the standard locaton on the bumper without blocking the front grille or the intercooler

    i'll try find a pic

You can see my front plate in my sig, on the rear I have a square plate too as I have a kouki bumper. They are just plain, no borders/badges etc.

Best one i could find of mine.

It's a stock plate trimmed down to fit the de bricked section of the bumper.

Having a private plate does help loads though as it's less letters to fit on it

when I had my S13 it lived on the sun visor as above, never got pulled

i'd do the same on the s14, but the bumper looks daft with the number plate bulge empty, where as the s13 dosn't have it so nothing looks missing

Does the tax disc have to be displayed on the front windscreen? silly question but what if I stuck it on the rear hatch screen? still on display isnt it.

Almost been a year and had no problems so far. Think it's to do with being a White car it doesn't stand out. I have got one made up for the front, plane with no borders or fancy lettering as small as legally possible but i don't want to fit it because it looks better without. Jap plate on the back of course!

My mates Supra numberplate mod which I'll probably do of ever I get caught.

Agreed. Although I like the border.

My front is a standard UK rectangular plate with a dark blue border but no logo's, manufacturers names etc. Just the reg, border and a tiny series for the legal shite.

The rear is a jap size squarish plate with the reg on 2 lines as thats what will fit in the bumper recess. Again dark blue border, reg and tiny legal lettery bit.

I don't see the pont in pushing my luck with slightly non-conformist plates in irregular positions. Don't want to give the po-po a reason to pull me. Not that afaik they'dd find anything wrong/illegal. I just don't want the hassle.
