Got the wheels redone and wrapped in some r888's, I know most people will be like fail! Rays stickers on rotas but who cares, I like them and it takes more than stickers to ruin a 700bhp time attack car imo

Got some rare carbon side sill extensions which will tie in with my time attack aero that will be going on the car, but ill need to shorten them a bit first as they came from a GTR which has a longer wheelbase

I also started work on the bodywork and had the riveted on overfenders blended in and I added triangular spacers into the fender to give a bit extra width which you might be able to see in the pictures, I had planned a respray to white but I think I've changed my mind again but the wheels and interior will be white either way

A quick update on how the build is coming along, good work from chizfab at the moment fitting the cage

And although looking a bit rough from the bodywork being sanded down and the temp wheels here is the new downpipe fabrication, intercooler pipes, wastegate relocation and wing exit 44mm screamer!

It's 2.5inch into 3. But this combined with the 44mm wastegate with the 1 bar spring will still be enough to hit 650bhp, I don't plan on going over that figure anyway to keep it drivable

It's too small you realy need to be 3" off the turbo back possibly go 3.5" system especially on a 6 cylinder. I run 3" to 4" straight off the turbo on my 30/26 and was realy surprised how quite it was.

It's a 2.5 inch outlet on the turbo and it's a 650bhp rated turbo for 6 cylinder and v8 applications, I should be fine for what I intend to use it for, if it turns out to be too restrictive I'll either change the exhaust housing to a tial or get a t51r

far from finished but here's a quick mock up of how the jgtc sidesteps are going to look with the wing diffuser, it will have 3 of these per side and will be made to fit the shape of the door and angled for best efficency, can't wait to see it all together now

nothing exciting but this is the lack of progress thats been made in the last few months, moved out my unit to save cash, my garage at the house provides decent enough space, and im planning on extending it in the near future.. so this is how the car is sitting hibernating for the winter, waiting on a respray when the funds are better!

sooo....after what feels like a very long time of the car sitting in my garage rotting away untouched, i finally got the finger out and put money away to have the car finished off, im leaving it in the capable hands of SWR racing, they own and race 2 ex btcc accords, and built a mega escort cosworth racecar, so its defo going to be in the right hands.

the floor is going to be getting cut to fit solid seat mount bars, bulkhead is getting chopped out at the drivers side to be mounted further into the engine bay to give correct leg room for the a new pedal box to be fitted, a lot of work but this keeps the cage whole without chopping the shit out it so i have enough leg room, and ill not be forgetting about the weight balance so ill be doing something about that, the car will also be getting 2 new sills as the sills went downhill rapid since it went off the road, its also getting a race wiring loom made from the stock loom, with internal fusebox and rally style center console with flick switches for the fans etc.

also contemplating buying a cartek wireless control module, its a bit overkill but thats how i roll, it would work instead of having alot of flick switches and more like a racing sim wheel with push button activation.
...you know what its like having harnesses tight and you cant reach shit on the dash lol
just and example of how it looks other than it would be mounted on my nardi

    and heres the pedal box.

not much of an update as the car is still away getting all the fabrication work done, so i thought id take the time now the cars away to mess about with how i want the car to be individual and a bit more upto date, ive still not set my mind on anything yet, still purely ideas, but im fully into the new audi's etc with the daytime running lights, such a clean classy look and i wish some company would release something for 14's without being cheesy, as you know from seeing all the corsas etc driving about now with r8 style led's it looks terrible, i want it to look factory fitted, i found a company that is now stocking flexible glow lighting the same as the new bmw's etc with no individual bulbs, just a bright solid strip, so i was going to go for a set of them, but the biggest hurdle is the fact the glass headlights have ridges in the glass for the stock beam, so i will need to sand that smooth and polish it back upto transparent to give it the oem look

    heres where im at...

and im looking into rear lights that are totally different from the usual, currently trying to source a company that can make something like this up
    again..just an idea

its going to be a pain in the ass getting that glass sanded smooth and polished back up, once thats done im going to use the same outline and cut that shape out the inner chrome trim, then remould a half circle duct in its place to house the light strip. if you can picture it?
    wish me luck!

Just a quick video showing where I'm at with the headlights, still far from finished but alot of work has went into them even at this stage, will look no bad once they are fitted properly and I get some clear lenses instead of the glass ones
