Looks like a tight fit! You could have gone for the .60 a/r comp housing and it would have given a bit more room...

I was going to say but then he'd not be able to run a ported shroud, but he's not anyway.
Thought a bike engine would surge like a goodun?

You can get ported shroud on the .60 - mine is.

I'd offer to swap as I actually want to try the larger housing on mine...

I'd guess that there won't be massive levels of torque (which is what kills gearboxes). The fact that the engine revs so high means it can still make huge hp

This looks like utter brilliant madness!
Good effort, looking forward to seeing this progress

    Good luck with the build

Don't bike gearboxes run at half the speed of the engine anyway (compared to a car's gearbox) ?

I haven't stripped it, but it seems to be going strong.
The proofs in the pudding, youve kind of blown the theory of low mileage rebuiolds into the water with personal experience

Good for you, bollocks to them If you think theres ever anything I can do to assist with the build then just ask, parts at cost, whatever. Anything to help complete the project because this is going to be truely epic

I hope you're not counting me among the haters - I'm just trying to put some numbers to just how smeggin' mental it's going to be ('cos I'm an engineer, and we like numbers).

Good luck with it, and keep the updates coming!

Really appreciate it. I'll be in touch

Most of the remaining stuff needs to be custom built (IC, Rad, Plenum). I've got a company doing the IC and Rad, but I'm struggling to find a company that can make me a decent plenum. I'm bining the quad throttles and using a single electronic TB, so the standard hayabusa turbo kits are no good.

does the oil pickup kit help pull the oil back into the engine from the turbo drain? or is it just a gravity drain? just asking as the turbo seems to be near level with the height that the sumps oil level will be at, if there isnt much of a drop then you may end up popping seals on the tubby, also seen guys that have mounted it this low on bikes having small oil leak from compressor side when the bikes parked up on the side stand, may not be an issue as its not gonna be tilted over like a bike.

    impressive build none the less
