I drove it at 310bhp and it was spastic fast and suprisingly grippy. 1st was a write off, but 2nd onwards was just crazy. Not sure what it'll be like at 450 ish. Good thing is we've got full gear based boost control, so we can set it up to the limit of traction for each gear to get max acceleration.

If we manage to figure out a way of getting wheel speed sensors mounted it'll have launch, anti lag and traction control too.

God almighty. That is still the fastest thing I've ever been in, and now it's got even more power!

I just worked out a list of jobs to do.... and I thought I was nearly finished...

    Jobs to do:

    • Fit uprated water pump - The current electric water pump is fine for 350, but I need more coolant flow around the turbo at over 400.
    • Fit rear traction control trigger wheels and sensors.
    • Design front trigger wheels for the traction and launch control.
    • Make a trackday friendly exhaust.
    • Finish low load mapping/transients.
    • Wheel Alignment.
    • Get the stator upgraded/rewound for 500 watts.
    • Modify rear boot lid for new fuel tank.
    • Make bracket for additional fuel tank support.
    • Make a new dashboard.
    • Configure gear based boost, TC and LC.

Here's a still from the gopro during a recent blat.

The car is out of winter hibernation. It needs a bit more poke

I'll put some race fuel in and we'll see what it'll do once Jez has worked his magic on the map.

It made about 460 on super unleaded...So anyone guess what power it'll make at 2 bar on C16....?
Not sure if the clutch will hold, but I'd like to see north of 500.

what race fuel are you planning? be interested in the results, have been looking at various Sunoco and Shell race fuels for a while but not taken the plunge yet

Just stich a HTA/GTX turbo on there and you'll hit 500 on SUL

VP C16.... Seems to be a popular choice for the turbo busa.

It should easily make over 500 with the current GT3076 on SUL.
Just need to fit the 4 bar MAP sensor and up the boost a bit.... The current 3 bar is maxed out

    Ahh
