    1000 bhp per ton

Here's my project: I'm swapping the fireblade engine out of my kit car (it weighs 467kg). Replacing it with a Hayabusa and a GT3076 . It should make just over 500hp at 2 bar.

I'm hoping to keep the weight of the car under 500kg. It shoud be pretty close to that by the time I've added the IC, turbo, pipework, dry sump, etc.

    Here's the victim:

It's a Lotus Seven Replica. Currently fitted with a 126bhp Fireblade engine.

The replacement hayabusa engine with the GT3076. I'm going to have to fabricate the turbo kit as I want it to fit under the bonnet and use a single throttle body.

Crank and gearbox. The engine only had 1700 miles on it, so everything was nice and fresh.

    Cylinder barrel cleaned up

    Crank case cleaned up

    New oil pickup wired in.

    Dry Sump installed.

    Wossner rods.

Uprated oil gear to give the oil pressure a boost.

    Wossner pistons and ARP studs.

Head back on with a 0.080 spacer plate to help lower the compression.

Adjustable cam sprockets pressed onto the cam shafts and tack welded.

    Engine Built.

    Next job..

    Fab the manifold.

Are you planning on going anywhere in this thing or just doing big smoky burnouts everywhere?

    Shotgun?

Is this the car that was at SRR in 2008 shortly after you got it, and at the weekender 2010?

Looking good, going to be an animal

    Got one somewhere.. Here's a GT35 and 40 . Things get interesting between 7-9k.
Hopefully the GT30 will come on a little sooner/shallower.

I'm using Syvecs ecs and not planning on running 2 bar all the time

This will affect the earths rotation and possibly knock it off it's axis.......so....can we use this to move us a few 100 miles south? I want 70s summers again
