Anyone running a HKS S14 downpipe??

    People,

Currently exploring my options of a new downpipe.

Is anyone running a HKS S14 downpipe?

Would be very very interested to hear/see about the fitment of it. Looking for a downpipe that sits pretty much flush with the chassis rail (not the dw superlow)

    Cheers

but i was going to get a hks front pipe and some one told me they hang really low, which isnt what i wanted, so i went witht eh japspeed one, doesnt sit quiet as flush like the DW superlow, but still is a good fit

You read the post correctly dude!!!

Its really really handy you said that as I had a sneaking suspicion the HKS d/p might be a fail like my Blitz!

Have you got any pictures of the Japspeed one? And does the hanger line up with the mount?

    cheers

Completely changes the entire fitment of the system and makes it hang out the back of the car a lot more

    Superlow = last resort

think the dw one is asking way too much cash to be honest, i know japspeed make their own version of the super low, but they all do the same job

I was under the impression that the Driftworks and Japspeed downpipes were exactly the same.

Also, exactly the same downpipes are sold on ebay...

Thought it was just a bit of a scam

Superlow d/p would probably solve all my problems but a mate had one and it fubared his entire exhaust system and it stuck out loads at the back and basically touched the rear ARB!

Are you saying the HKS d/p is a good fitment dude?

    What elbow have you got?

Have you got any pictures and can you say anymore on the fitment?

Is a hanger included with the HKS d/p?

It was using an HKS elbow too. I cant remember if it had a hanger, though Digglet on the forum now has my full turbo assembly so you might give him a shout. Ill have a look for a photo asap, though it might not be till next weekend...
