I've just looked back at the last karting thread. That was a year ago

Can't do karting before the meal, as I for one am very smelly/sweaty/generally revolting after karting.

7pm on either Thurs 18th or Friday 19th November.
please indicate date preference as we'll have to decide before Tuesday

It's not the cheapest track but I do think it's worth the extra.
Also ideal for beginners.
Smaller cheaper tracks like Wakefield or Pontefract would make a beginner feel a bit 'in the way' but Leeds has more proper overtaking chances and flows so much better.

Ironman40 format = 10mins practice, then 40minute race.

£40 members. £45 guests/friends/family.

As there's only four of us at the mo, I've booked the 30minute 'practice' session rather than the IronMan.
Four of us running round will be a bit empty. Lots of space available still, and other groups can book onto the same time slot as well.

7pm at the track. There's the safety briefing to get through before actually driving. Should be out by 8.30pm latest methinks. Maybe for a nearby carvery I'll be hungry by then.

So what does 'practice' consist of exactly? Do we just get on and drive for 30mins without any kind of ordered start/finish?

No-one has paid me a deposit, but they will be killed if they don't show up

Any more coming along need to book direct. Or just turn up. There may well be space to join in last minute.
