    Right, pics then as promised,

    Last night:

    This morning at work:

Roads were pretty bad this morning but clearsed up later on when the council actually bothered to go out and clear them

Only took three jacknifed lorries and several folk in ditches to motivate them

There is supposed to be a mahoosive snow storm headed this way tonight so I will take some more tomorrow

When people are designing housing estates. Where do they get the fantastic idea to build great big brick speed bumps? On a junction?

    Jesus they are lethal!

Yep a couple of inches in Stoke/Stafford that just never happens.....

Traction control did a fine job of reigning in the power when it kicked in at 60mph

    Still nothing

Why do you guys have a problem driving the SX in the snow? I did last year and had no accidental slips (a couple of "accidental, honest!" ones) with about 1/4 tank and a lightweight buggy in the boot - no significant weight at all. Had some steepish hills to go up and down but had no problems at all. The biggest issue for me were the fcukwits that can't drive and closed BOTH Haldon Hill and Telegraph Hill* by thinking they can drive on snow like its dry tarmac and causing accidents that subsequently caused a jam and tailbacks for miles and miles. Because of you idiots it took me until 3am to do the 18 miles home after leaving work at 5

*for non-locals: this is at the southern end on the M5 where the road splits into 2 dual carrigeways (A38 and A380) to head either to Plymouth or to Torquay. Both roads go up a fairly steep hill and, when the rest of the country is at a standstill because of a few inches of snow, these hills get a light dusting. Still. It seems enough for eejit english drivers who think they're Gods gift to the road to cock it up completely.

Love it. Blimin cold this morning but any excuse to go for a drive saw me explaining to th GF at 7am this morning that I needed petrol and a newspaper so have to go out now.

Didn't disappoint either a nice light snow covering Iced roads for some proper slidy action. RWD is just too much fun
