If i don't end up having to spend loads on my upcoming MOT, what's the best way to prepare for the snow for no more than £300? Anyone have experience with chains?

Just hoping someone could tell me that these are great and well worth the money then i'd be happy to pay for them, but need an SXOC review before i part with my money:

I shall be awaiting the snow. I have the arsenal of a Shogun, 4wd ASX, Outlander, or 207, Vitara, or Challenger. Hmm, I think I may take the 207 just for a giggle!

These are supposed to be fully tested and have had some good reviews on amazon. I've ordered some but not tested them yet.

Thanks! Will bookmark that link and give them a go. I think they're sort of temporary right, like if you get stuck you put them on? Not for doing the whole distance to work? Look like they could wear quite quickly as soon as you're off a constant run of snow...

Yeah, they're only made of material so I'd imagine as soon as you hit tarmac they would be ripped to shreds.
