went along to a sxoc RR day at surrey rolling road yesterday
made 278bhp & 270ft/lb at the fly. Jez's 1a chip seems to be doing its thing
i understand the printouts apart from the afr readout - what's a good result?? 11's, 12's

my 10" sub has never been properly secured so i cut a new
panel out of chipboard and made a frame to hold it in place
also decided to replace the tatty old carpet at the same time
im pleased with the way it turned out, i've added a quick release
plug so i can whip the sub out at anytime to have full use of the boot

hey guys,, can anyone help me out by checking my fueling curve on the RR print outs above please, not sure what a good figure is or what the numbers mean?? 11's, 12's

Its the ratio of air to fuel I think.... All the following may be total bullshit, but this is how I look at it.
Ideally 12-12.5 is what is ideal, however on a road car its much safer to make it richer so 11.5-12 is better.
ok cool so 11's is the car running richer than if it was running in the 12's , is that right?
yeah, basically, the lower the number, the richer the mixture is in fuel....
the AFR's seem good from the graph.
as said, something between 11.5~12.0 AFR is considered good.
okay cool that makes sense thanks for confirming that for me
I got some nice new Godspeed ARB's & droplinks fitted by Andy at Project-d today which was very nice of him seeing that its a sunday
I forgot to take my camera so I had to use the iphone
nice & shiny
front in place
& the rear one
(the subframe needs some attention soon as its in a bit of a state)
im impressed with the results, does a great job with reducing body roll, also they seem to have smoothed out the ride a fair bit on bumpy country lanes

I got some different wheels
They're a set of Rays Volk Racing Winning F-Zero's - (bit of a mouthful)
They could do with a refurb but unfortunately all the companies i've spoken to so far say its going to be impossible to return them to the current/original spec im a bit gutted by that so i've started to clean up the lips myself & will chuck them on to see how they look pretty soon. if i do decide to get them refurb'd this will mean losing the interior detailing so the blue colouring & sliver highlights will be no more
anyways they're better than my current set, these are a forged 2 piece with pressed disks so they're a fair bit lighter too
I've started to clean up the lips but have some way to go yet....

I'd also like to get these stickers replaced if possible.
Does anyone know of a supplier who can get replacement Rays stickers or maybe a company who could make some up for me?

Have you tried Wheel Worx in Manor Royal? I know someone that works there - they know theor stuff and seem quite reasonable in terms of ££ too
