Had an Accident in my daily this morning!

    Pictures speak louder than words.......

Genuine unavoidable accident. Narrow country lanes, we was both as far over as possible and on a blind corner!

Crap picture at the moment as this was taken this morning after it just happend. It looks alot worse than it is tbh. The tank that collided with me (Volvo ) must have just nicked the front wing, tearing it open like a tin of sardines but didn't damage the bonnet or light. All the panel gaps are still perfect and the steering straight as an arrow.

Just going to unbolt the wing tonight to see if theres any damage underneath, but thankfully it doesnt look like it.

Worse thing though is, it's my girlfriends car and I'm a named driver so feel terrible about it.

Just looks like a wing swap! Knock for knock i take it? looks like a shame to go through insurance for that!
oh and grab some flowers on the way home!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

I know tell me about it. I had to take the corsa home and get the BM to go to work.

Send my brother a picture message and all I got back was "that's the funniest thing I have seen all week" haha.

Yeah that's what I thought but no doubt she will ring the insurance, she seemed like that sort of person. But I told her to ring me before she does anything. It was an R reg Volvo with a dented wing and door so if she does ring the insurance it will be a right off! Not worth it IMO.

    Will see

Especially as it'll go 50-50 thru the insurance, so neither of you will be better off.

    Cheers for the offer

I'm going to wait to see what trick she tries playing 1st before I start spending money.

Going to need a drivers door and wing (pm me a price and I'll keep it in mind )

I know I know, but it's my girlfriend I feel for. If it doesn't go through insurance, which would be a waste of money time and paper it's going to be a cheap fix.

I'm fine. It wasn't a bad accident, very soft and calm. I think the lounge style seats cushioned me great

well thats what i was thinking today but i havnt heard anything. Damage to her tank was dented wing and a bit of a dent on the door.

I have taken some pictures on my D60 but for some reason (i may have been messing with the settings) its taken them in Nikons RAW format (NEF). Photoshop wont opend them (cs3) and photobook doesnt recognise them..........help?

Right i have managed to convert the images to jpeg and upload to photobucket by installing the CD i got with my camera.

    sardines anyone

Headlight bracket smashed off, no biggie though

    Nice and suprisingly straight underneath

    Tinfoil?

One bent bracket which i straightned out thanks to Mr Vicegrip

And the door which i beat back into shape (ish) with a BIG hammer

All in all not to bad tbh. To get it back on the road i need a wing and an indicator

To get it back to how it was at 730 this morning i need the above, bumper and door.
