You can get a roof rack but I think they are rare to get, Nissan offerred them as an optional extra from factory and Yakima will supply one I guess you could make a roof box fit onto the rack?

Umm picture tells a thousand words lol

Lack of space in the 200sx does not lend it's self well to taking a few sets of rims/tyres to a drift/track day very well

I've been on the lookout for one for some time now to carry my kayak, mountain bikes and snowboards. Not all at the same time though!

Buying one new seems to be the only realistic option but they aren't cheap

Here is the replie i got of them

Thank you for contacting Yakima Customer Support.

We don't have a specific fit for your vehicle using one of our removable rack systems. The only way to put a roof rack on the vehicle would be to drill a permanent system into the roof, which we consider a custom installation.

You could consider these custom installations:

    1) Install a set of tracks, which utilize the Control Towers and Landing Pad 1’s.

    2) Or you could install the Landing Pad 7 directly to your roof in a fixed position. The tracks are more expensive but have the ability to be adjusted, whereas the LP6/7 is fixed in one place.

You can view this system and accompanying instructions at our website (Yakima.com) by choosing “shop” - “rack systems” - “permanent installation.”

If you decide to customize a rack, it is a good idea to contact your dealer, if possible, and ask them about the integrity of the roof for your purposes (weight, capacity etc.).

    Thank you for your inquiry!

Yakima Q-Towers fit but it's expensive. Someone was asking £200 for a 2nd hand Yakima rack on here not long ago.

Ha! Last time I went to halfrauds for a part they told me there was no such car as a nissan 200sx - did I mean the 300zx, 240z or 100nx? Cue an quick educational speech to the monkeys that worked there, taking them outside to show them that the car does exist upon receiving "ohhh! You mean an imported skyline!"

I didn't bother going back in...

You can get a Thule system for the SX from Halfords AFAIK.
