What times are you hoping for? I want to get in to the 12's with mine next year on an airfield track. Would love to make it in to the 11/10 second range but doubt I'll ever get the power or compromise the car enough on the road to do so.

We have ....... Perspex Door Windows, Perspex Rear Screen, FRP Front Wings, Carbon Bonnet, Carbon Boot, Alloy Propshaft, 20L Fuel Tank, JDM Plastic Headlights,

The cage, Z32 gearbox, large intercooler etc.. probably add 60+kg so we have taken out about 250kg from the standard car,

Would like to get it under 1000kg at some point.
Some FRP doors would save a lot of weight about 60 kgs, stock doors are crazy heavy iirc 60 kgs each complete,
FRP roof panel save a bit more, maybe a lexan/perspex wind screen, that lot could shave about 70/80 kgs off,
300zx rear knuckles/uprights and coilovers with aluminum body and lower brackets/mounts, small front disc's on aluminum bells and small willwood calipers
as if you dip into the 9's your need a parachute anyway's
carbon/plastic craft square racetech stylee door mirrors and Lithium motorbike battery can save another 9/10 kgs over a stock lead acid battery

We have some of those things (mirrors, race battery), Some are not allowed (windscreen must be glass),

Our doors are pretty light as they are completely gutted, frp doors would be nice but cost v's weight saving is probably too much,

Brakes are definitely the next weight saving to tackle as that should give us the best weight saving v's cost,

Its been so long since an update I'd completely forgotten about this! Are you competing in a specific series or just for shits and giggles?

What rear shocks etc do you use to aid your 60ft times? Sorry if I've missed it, will have a proper look though the thread when I'm not on my phone
