One of the guys who works on our industrial complex packed loads of de-icer last year. He has just had the order for this year's work, which is considerably larger than last year. So there might be something in it

    Global warming my arse

remove the media hype and you are left with cooler weather and a chance of the odd snow shower in the Scottish mountains

Seconded. I love the snow, especially when the sun comes out. I did get some odd looks driving the MX5 with the roof down though

i would have loved ot have had my MX5 when it snowed, so much fun to be had.

i would love to see it snow hard again, but not the ice that we (in Southampton at least) was left with in the run up to and over Xmas

    Exactly what i thought!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Still got the L200 with all the offroad kit! Not that I needed it last time it snowed. The SX was fine in it - fun times were had!

BRING IT ON!!! I'll trundle up to Dartmoor and take my snowboard Chuck a line out the back of the L200 and have Bex tow me down the road

Not good for me seeing as I met a girl and driving down to Torquay/Devon every weekend may disrupt my plans!

The girl is in Torquay? Oh dear...

Still. Whilst others saw snow over a foot in depth, we, at the worst, had a whole 2 inches Yet still there was "paniiiiiiiiiiiiiiic!!! We're all going to freeze to death/crash and die on the roads"

For years the weather forecasters in this country struggled to predict tomorrows weather and now they can predict weather in Siberia.

I love seeing news stories like this. Its bad that it might snow, that would be inconveniant, but at the same time it feels good to know that there are no children dying in Africa.
