30/04/04 for me,but i know of 3 people that are 15 years plus!
You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
You've probably had yours the longest then
Only other person I can think of who might beat you would be Barryjdart
I know Tbone has owned his 14a since the year 2000 which I thought was impressive but 1994
Not sure of his boardname, but the guy who owns this has had it since nearly new

Bought mine new, with delivery mileage, in November 2000 and still running it
January 2001 iirc ....
I bought mine in June 2000 and kept it until it was written off by a van driving into it in September 2008.
My first was a G reg lime over grey (still my favourite colour scheme) bought with only 7K on the clock in mid 1990.
Two more since and still trucking in my last.... 124K and 'mechanically perfect' according to the MOT guy*.
* sadly he added the words 'shame about the bodywork tho...'
No matter what, there's always some b*****d set to ruin your day innit.

I bought one of the first s14from a uk dealer. We ran it as a road car for 90,000 miles and decided to chop it in and were offered nothing for it, so I decided to keep it and use it as a track day/drag car what ever.
It had a new clutch at 1100 miles under warranty, the air con always mucked about , the air bag light has always flashed (tried all the door switch things to no avail, stuck a bit of tape over it that fixed it )
The exhaust manifold went and was replaced with a stainless one from ebay
Its had a small welding job done underneath that’s about it.
Apart from that its all that’s been done I have always had it serviced and used top quality synthetic oil in the engine
The engine has never required oil between services
I have moved the battery to the boot.
Removed the air con
I have had fitted
Gen 2 shockers.
Rear sub frame collars
Rose jointed back suspension units
A rear roll cage.
Cobra seats
Front strut brace
Up rated clutch
Up rated front brakes
Modified air box and filter
Stainless exhaust
Quick shift.
The suspension has been set up professionally and the car is a lowered and 18in wheels fitted. And handles like a dream.
The engine is due for upgrading in the near future haven’t decided how far to go yet.
a carbon bonnet is to be fitted next
Owned mine since September 2002 so a fair time but not the longest. It still had a Nissan warranty at the time though.
