    charcoal canister lines

has anyone removed these lines? near as i can tell, one goes along the drivers side chassis rail, loops round the bulkhead and down to the canister, the other along the passenger rail to the same place. at the moment i have removed the canister and linked out the two hard pipes, but it seems there is a vent of some sort that goes into the passengers inner wing/chassis rail.

if i were to remove both hardlines from under the car, how would i go about bypassing it back at the tank and still provide a vent of some sort - if its even a requirement? any help appreciated as always

When I removed mine I took the canister out with all the hardlines etc to down by the clutch slave cylinder and just looped the 2 lines into each other with a bit of silicone.

when i took mine out i just ripped all the pipes out.the one on the passenger side just stops in a plastic blank on the cassis rail.and the drivers side i still have half a pipe that goes to the tank but just left it there.ive had no problems did it over 2years ago .

thanks for all the replies - s15 must be slightly different as only one line runs up the drivers side rail, the other is on the passenger chassis rail. this makes linking the two under the car not too easy.

so without sounding like a complete numpty, can i assume that if i trace the lines to where they exit the tank, unplug them, and just bridge the two outlets together there will be no problems....sorry to keep trying to clarify, just worried about any possibility of an air lock - cheers.
