I sure there is a metal plater in Cornwall that would be closer to you? I just googled metal platers and just did a bit of research .
Got a place in Plymouth doing it for me Spent today measuring all the bolts and writing what they were on paper next to each one and then taking photos.

Did you have yours debritled after they were plated?

Debrittled?! Didn't even know that was a issue? What's involved in the process?

Finally started to put the rear handbrake mech back together. Works now that I am using parts from the S13 setup too.

Also went down to Nissan and got some of this stuff.

Nice work there fella. I admire the commitment to Nissan quality products as its meant to be the best choice, but for ni-on £100 your over half way to a complete gearbox rebuild kit...ouch!

The way that I look at it, I was going to be spending ~ £25/ litre on oil anyway so I might as well spend the same amount of money and get stuff that I know is designed for the diff.

I will be using cheaper oil to run the diff in as it will only be in there for 30-40 minutes

you have to balance the hole thing on a jack, put the jack towards the back and centre of the diff and lift it up giving it a good few wiggles to locate it. thats how i did it anyway

    Same here.

Used a trolley jack to wheel it in and raise it up. Helps to have another pair of hands to stop it wobbling about on the jack, but I managed it on my own.

    Looking good Hamish.
