This is looking excellent I want to know how you find that diff when its on the road as i want a Nismo 1.5 way
Good Work
good work
Good thread mate, keep it up, keeping an eye on this, will be doing similar once I can find a workshop where I could potentially strip the car.
nice job
nice thread mate done exactley the same to mine recentley. kind of wish i got all my bolts zinc coated know, i just gave mine the vinegar treatment and some paint. whats the advantage with the greedy plate never seen one before?
Great work, a lot of work but it'll pay in the end
Good work and attention to detail!
Ah hope you're proud of your hard work fella - top job. Always good to see some decent preservation work on an S-body.
Basically increase the oil capasity by around 1litre. Ive sacked off the diff cooler so I wanted as much oil as I could get around the diff. It also has baffle plates to stop splosh.
Cheers guys
Basically took 3 steps back tonight . That caliper I had in top coated I laqueered a couple of nights ago and it proceeded to just peel off in my fingers tonight
Spent the night picking it all off and sanding the caliper back down for another top coat

Apex components were disassembled and sent off to the zinx coater too.
Handbrake mechanism starting to go on:
Again, all zinc plated and brand new brake shoes

Beautiful mate, keep up the good work

How much did all the Zinc plating cost you fella?
I want to have all my bolts done when mine goes back up on the car

Excellent work, Lewis

Whats the trick to getting the prop bolts off (apart from getting Jesus-ninja to come around to do it for you)?
