During a fiercely hot summer in Sotoba, a peaceful and quiet village with a population of 1300 people, a series of bizarre deaths begin to occur. At the same time, a strange family moves into a long abandoned mansion in the region. Hospital dean Toshio Ozaki cannot figure out the cause of death in the deceased, initially suspecting an epidemic. As investigations continue between the hospital staff and the residents, it turns out that the village is being attacked by vampires.

The plot line is really good and the ending is not what you expect

I need something new to watch, just finished watching cowboy bebop over Crimbo.

Yhea luckcy star I was like WTF is this... But after watching the first series I got the concept that's it's really a piss take of other anime ( o like the initial d episode..)

This needs a bump. Gotten into anime in a big way recently and been watching several episodes a day.

Current faves are the pairing of "A Certain Magical Index" and " A Certain Scientific Railgun" Both have 2 seasons of 24-26 episodes (inc. specials) each (railgun season 2 is currently being broadcast - episode 20 is the latest). Great story, great characters and just addictive to watch!!

Been watching (and downloading and buying!) quite a lot. My current level is around 45 different series'. Watched more but don't have a dvd/download of them as yet. Watched many of what has been mentioned and to add to the list of suggestions:
    Infinite Stratos
    Freezing
    Rosario + Vampire
    Sekirei

I've not been watching recently due to not having a PC. Also trying to catch up on other things.

Initial D should be out soon though but that's in a different thread.

Hajime no ippo will be out in Autumn and I can't wait for the 3rd series. If you don't know it I recommend watching series 1 and two.

A recent anime that has been very good is Attack on Titan. Currently up to ep 20 and I'm loving it.

As for initial d. It's over. Ended. No more.

Bump. Still loving the anime. Collection has now grown to around 120 complete series'!

Mirai Nikki was awesome, laughed lots at Zero No Tsukaima and really liked Strike the Blood. And so many others enjoyed, going through a series every 3 or 4 days!

I've been watching Fairy Tail...freaking love the show but it's another Naruto type anime...goes on forever.

Also those that haven't seen Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) need to do so now if you are an anime fan.

Hajime no Ippo season 3 has just finished and I do recommend it.
