Wider Dishes

hey lads, i just picked up these wheels today after wining them rather cheap on ebay


they are genuine Work Ryver Touring splits
in 17x7.5 et 11 and 17x8 et10

ideally i'd like to put the 8's on the front and get some wider dishes for the 7.5's to bring them out to 9 or 9.5 and put those on the rear.

my question is, can i get replacement wider dishes for these wheels?
i've had no luck trying to contact work themselves to ask and have had a tough time finding anything about these wheels in split wheel form.

Are they 2 or 3 piece ?

I think Rare rims only deal in Rota and anything else they happen to come accross in trade etc they don't make dish's but these guys can help

i haven't split it yet, but i'm almost certain it's 3 piece, with the centre lifting first, then the dish and barrel splitting afterwards.

Can you get outer barrels for 2 piece split rims? I've bugged a nismo lmgt2.

We have the contact to get it done, but it'll be a custom type thing, so very hard to price without getting it to them.

There are no outer barrels on a 2 piece rim

the rim is one piece and the centre is one piece, hence "2 piece"

This is sounding a bit more likely, I cant promise something like that would be easy to do, it's not something we do in house.

There are no outer barrels on a 2 piece rim

the rim is one piece and the centre is one piece, hence "2 piece"

sorry to break the news, but it depends completely on the wheels in question.
some 2 piece wheels are barrel and centre, (american wheels)
others, like the BBS RM 2 piece wheel or example, the centre and the back portion or the barrel are one, also known as a basket. then the outer dish, bolts on top of that. making the full rim.

so yes, you can get outer dishes for 2 piece wheels depending on the wheels.
those lmgt's look like they are made the same as the bbs but i could be wrong. haven't seen a set in the metal.
back on topic,
if i messure up the wheels, PCD number of holes position of the valve gap and provide pics,
could a guide price be got?

it would be a big effort to ship the wheel dish over only to find it beyond what i am willing to pay for example.
