I think wishing death on them would be a little extreme tbh.
Locking them up forever and poking them with sharp pointy sticks every day would be my call on the outcome

I don't think they deserve it but I would feel sorry for them.

Their deaths were self inflicted whilst in the process of deliberately inflicting misery onto someone else, just for cheap laughs.

If you steal a car and then drive it like a tool, then I dont think you have anyone to blame but yourself when the worst happens
I get the feeling that this would only work if we could pursuade Ernest Borgnine to drive the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth hovercraft.
Part of me says "Deserve it, less scum on the street"... Part of me feels a little saddened for their family who will be grieving. Especially their parents, no parent should have to bury their child.
I don't sympathise with them, but I do sympathise with their families... I certainly don't think they deserved to die for nicking a car.

They deserved what they got, but I'm sure there families didn't.
Sadly its the only thing that stops them! jails are full so all they'd get is a slap on the wrist!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer,you've got an electrical problem!
no sympathy, as i bet if they hit and killed someone instead of them selves in this joy ride, they would have shown no sympathy to that person(s) or their family.
would they have stopped and assisted the person(s) untill the emergency services arrived?
would they have called the emergency services?
they would have either carried on driving then ditched the car ASAP or if the car wasnt driveable they would have just done a runner there and then.
i do not wish death as a penalty on anyone, but this is Darwinism at its best. you do something stupid and take your life (and others) into your own hands you have to be prepared to face the consequenses if and when it all goes pete tong

wonder how many near misses they had before doig the right thing - removing themselves and no one else from society
the problem is, that there seems to be only three outcomes when scroats nick cars.
1. police can't chase them because of health and safety, or they are in the station filling out paperwork
2. police do catch them, the cps don't prosecute, or they get a wrist slapping
3. they die
maybe if it wasn't for number 1 and 2, we would be less inclined towards 3.
(not knocking the police, just the system)
