just thought i'd put a random post on here.

Havent done much which is rather annoying, the snow and flu hasnt helped. Plus i've ended up flogging spares rather than building the car. BUT my funds are a little better now so im going to concentrate on selling bits for the moment and will focus more time on the shell.

Really want the bent shell gone by Xmas .. but need to pull my finger out

But i have been buying some bits !

    - Apex 6 point Rollcage ..sadly not FIA spec, gutted. will have to weld in straight rear bar rather than this bent one

    - Also got some bits for a new electric fan set up, and a proper fuse box to make it all look neater

No pictures today, they are on my phone and its a pita to upload them to the forum, would be great if i could go from my phone, straight to photobucket.

    But anyway !

    Engine bay and interior stripped.

I've now started on the suspension... which means i end up with a sitting duck on my drive so i'll either be gutting up the car Or having a mate pull it onto his truck via a winch. Fun and games !

Looking forward to getting the new shell at my house though

    Merry Christmas guys & fudi

Some good pictures there! It's driving me potty not driving the car, but I'm sure the new xbox will keep me entertained (cheers Santa)

Your photos also make me consider whether it should stay black! ... So many decisions

Right... think this is my last update on this project thread

So.. with me itching to work on the car i had to prepare the old one for its new grave

I asked my bro to give me a hand one evening, however he then got bored one day, so when i arrived home from work.... i found the car cut into a million pieces !

The reason the front scuttle was cut off, is because its off to Bosnia ! ..crazy hey

well after a couple of hours the car went from this

    to this

if you look at the chassis leg 'stubs' you can see the right one is really high....it was totally ****ed.

Front panel cut out which is off to Bosnia

So we got to the Metal yard and the bloke took the car off in a proper pikey fashion !!

I thought it was going to fall onto the bloody trailer !

I then went and got my cash from the bloke with a sweet tin full of cash lol. I got £54 and was pretty happy

Altho as i walked away, i glanced back at the car and felt a little sad

But sentiment Aside, i had a good laugh with the car. I've learnt alot and it has caused me to buy another !

    the new beast !

a new thread will be starting for this soon, and i will link it to here when its up.

Sad times but onward and upward hey
