    Driveshaft question

Hi i've recently been having a bit of tapping i'm presuming and been told now from the driveshaft on the left rear side when the car takes drive..

Anyway i was just wandering do skyline driveshafts fit the s14? are they the same size etc, are they even any different? I'm just presuming they'll be stronger so thought i'd ask to confirm

    Thanks anyway

I dont think they are 3x2 like the s14 shafts so you will have to get new half shafts to suit. I think they are 6x1. Someone else to confirm though

the shafts should fit into the hubs but the diff end is different, the s13/14 uses 3x2 whereas the skyline uses 5x1. my s13 uses s14 5 stud hubs and i have a gts-t diff and driveshafts on it

Dude it's unlikely that noise is drive shafts it more likely to be the wheel bearing would it not be sensible to ask to swap mine while I'm not using it anyway to cancel it out?

and also as above unlikely the driveshaft to cause the noise. not on a rwd car anyways

    If that's okay man?

The noise is like a tap and now it does it everytime i go over a bump, it makes the car snag a little when the clutch bites.

Also it seems sligtly harder to pull away as it taps, it also does it every time i change gear.. BUT tends not to do it so much in the wet (but im unsure if this is just because i cant hear it as well)

    IDEAS?

    CV joint?
