    HSD HR Coilovers

    Hi there,

I've got HSD HR coilovers on my S15 and one of the back dampers is very noisy. Is this a more common problem? Tried to solve the problem by myself with no result unfortunately.
I've let a friend of mine drove my car and I was sitting in the back to feel the top mount with my hand. My thought it's coming from inside the damper and sounds literal like ''clung'' when driving a bump or small pit.
Do you guys have an idea what it can be?

    Thanks in advance

    Patrick

    Hi Patrick,

Sorry to hear you are having problems, supplying replacement parts is no problem.
Can you email me with the order details that they were purchased on to sales@driftworks.com and we'll sort something out

    Hi kam,

The coilovers were installed when I bought the car so I want to buy the replacement parts. Is it easily to open the damper?

    Thanks Patrick

No, you will need to buy a new damper.

£120 for the damper - if you e-mail me we can sort something out

I have the same problem with one of my rear HSD HR shocks, sounds like the top nut is loose and when you go over a bump it clanks but the top nut is tight. Can you still get replacement rear units? If so how much are they ?

    Cheers
