180sx/ps13 Sr20det REDTOP ECU Pinout (kouki/type-x has a different pinout but the same connector)

180sx redtop and blacktop straight cam (kouki) pinouts side by side. It is possible to swap some pins round on a kouki engine loom to use a chuki (redtop) ecu and these pinouts will help with that. If you're wanting to do this then you'll also need to earth out the Brown/Yellow wire from the Lambda sensor as the redtop is earthed but the kouki has an earth control from the ecu.

Fitting a rear foglight to a 180SX (required for MOT):

Kouki bulb holders. The original harnesses are available from japan but are roughly 50 each. A cheaper alternative is to buy x4 7440 bulb holders from Ebay (about 10), and x2 7443 bulb holders from Ebay (about 6) plus bulbs and wire them into your car.

I used a 300zx one mate. They are a bit bigger than stock ones. I'm guessing that an S14 one would be the same as stock.

Just found all this out the hard way:

Stock rear brakes comprise of: P10 eGT Primera discs, S14 rear pads.

To add to peoples posts above, oil filter also the same as P10 eGT Primera.
