    Dattosan machi aka project NIPPER

Here is my new project car. Its a project for daily driving that i can muck around with without spending any dollar.

K10 micra ls lowest of the low prefacelift spec.

It was free and is pretty tidy with only 66000 miles on the clock.

Plans are to mot it next week. Cut the springs heavily, so its on the bump stops. Fit some banded steels (need to make some first, i need some laser cut strips of steel 3inch wide if anyone knows who can do it) and slap on the gsxr 750 bike carbs that i have sat here. Should b e about 65hp on the carbs lol

Also got buckets to go in and iam gonna strip it out as per norm

    Updates coming soon

Duuuude! Thought you were losing interest in projects as you had so many?! Then you pop up 2 new ones in as many weeks! Was all that just a blind?!

Well my daily driver is now sold and this little beaut will be in for mot on saturday, i must say iam not looking forward to mot at all. Dont worry its not going to same place as the gentleman, i had 3 mots booked down there but when the fooked me off with the other car i cancelled them all.

Anyways i picked up some corsa steels off of slider200^^^ although they are very rusty so i need to see how bad they really are. I need to decidee whether or not to band them my self or send them away and pay someone else. We will see.

I cant wait to be driving this car, its gonna be strange driving something so slow lol

im the same with the metro kev. takes some getting used to, not having power on demand lol. i find its a real calming experiance tho.

takes some serious skill to band the wheels and get airtight, or are you putting tubes in?

Yeah i wont be welding them myself, ill tack em together and then get the guy at work to weld them with the stainless set. I will also put some wurth bond and seal around the welds to seal em up just like when you split alloys apart.

As for lack of power, i cant see me keeping it for long if its really terrible. Although the mx5 is lighter than a 1000cc mini and it has an extra 13hp so with a couple mods it maybe passable. As long as its not too much slower than a corsa sri in limp mode it will be ok

First mods will be fit the buckets i have and cut the springs. Then wheels and maybe leave it at that
