I only mnet her and dan once, but she seemed a very honest and genuine person, she went out of her way to help me out, and both her and dan were so friendly and hospitable. Couldn't believe this when i read it.

My condolences to dan and the girls, i can't imagine what you are going through.

    R.I.P.

I've just been going through some old PMs that I never deleted, possibly because I am a sentimental old sod. I happened upon this poem Jow sent to me back in February 2006, not very long after I had taunted her into joining the forum properly...

    when the sun is shining
    or snow comes down
    it looks so beautiful
    its hard to frown

    when the wind is blowing
    and rain never ends
    it doesnt really matter
cause you always got your friends

when it seems like your life
    aint going nowhere
    remember the good times
    and how you got there

    if you ever need someone
to talk to for a while
    remember where I am
I'll try to raise a... smile

    I know it seems like
    this misery knows no bounds
and I wish I was there
    to turn it around

    Friends are special
    honest and true
    and I want to say
    I'll be there for you.

I think this sums Jow up very well - always putting other people first

I keep coming back and reading this thread and I still just can't believe it. I keep writing long posts and then deleting them. There's so much I want to say, but none of it seems enough.

I have only just seen this thread, and although I have only exchanged a few PM's with Jow in the past and never met her in person she was always a very welcome presence on this board.

I'm so sorry to hear this, my sincere condolences
