We'd more than likely ask for experience of a similar car but each case is looked at on it's own merit.

I think it is more the people coming from local inner cities to the nicer areas to break in to your house steal your car keys and then take you car.

Well, I thought I might have to sorn the car for the winter but today I reduced my expected mileage as I do alot less in the car now due to more miles on the bike and Sky came up trumps with a price that means I can go ahead and insure now and not next spring. Well done Sky and well done the young lady on the other end of the phone for being very well mannered and professional (unlike flux et al). Happy customer again

Standard UK cars opens up a very compeitive market for insurance. We cannot always compete.

but still guys thats a hell of a lot more! shame cos i wanted to get my sx on with you guys when she's back up and running.

i'd be looking at paying £600 odd for the 200 not a stock bm.

i mean a guy 5 years younger 5 years less no claims with mods got a cheaper quote than me. 30, 9 years no claims, no convicsions anymore, never claimed even after theft!

i may call back tomorrow as at least there will be a little more time to discuss my needs.

    Hi,

if you PM me your details I can look into it.

With regards to comparing quotes, there is little or no point, insurance is made up of so many different variables unless each risk is exactly the same then you will find a wide variety of prices.

Phoned Sky there as forgot to mention my boost controller. They wanted £95 to add it a 15% increase on the policy, got told off an employee that there would be a £20 cancellation charge and they would waive commision as a new customer etc.

Phoned up Flux as had a quote with them and they wanted £17 more for it meaning it was cheaper overall. Called Sky back to see if could match and if not cancel and get told it would be a £75 cancellation fee as they would take commision. Really poor... and the policy hasn't even started yet. Not setting a very good impression at all.
