Make awesome dailies these things. Just dont start pulling it apart - i hated mine after i had finished doing all the work to it, wished i had left it standard and used it as my daily
I'm not gonna strip it or anything, apart from the coilovers it should be fine. Rears are a spring and damper setup with a height adjuster on the top of the spring:

Now I was worried that cheapo coilovers would be awful. They are a huge improvement of standard though. Not crashy, turn in massively improved, understeer reduced and road holding much better. They really tightened the car up. I'm really chuffed
Looks a good car mate. and work so far is nice and subtle
Now you need a twin exhaust to fill the hole in the diffuser. I'm surprised it doesn't have one actually, I thought it was only the 4-pots that had the single pipe
And damn, that car looks clean underneath considering how much E36s rust

Later cars....generally less rust but yeah there are exceptions....
My 328i is also a 97/8 car and has no rust at all! From the ones I have seen they don't rust anywhere near as bad as S bodies!!
