    18x12 et -10

A question for the wheel whores on the forum and anyone who has fitted rims of this size!

How much work is going to be needed to get these to fit on my S14??

I already have +30mm overfenders, the old arch has been cut and modified to suit.

Was thinking camber/stretch to get my desired look.

    Cheers

Err, basically, not gonna happen, not without some serious custom work.

Even with +50's you're still going to be pushing it with those tvh. Narrowest you could fit on there would be circa a 265/275 I suspect, and 275 et -10 is, err, pushing it

Check Ken's V8 build for a guide as to the sort of thing you're going to need.

265 with some 3 degrees of camber will tuck them

all depends on the look your going for.

ken has had to do some serious arch work as iirc... he is running some big tyres. 305

I'm fitting 18 x 12 et 5 with a 315/30/18 Tyre, I've got 50mm wider rear fenders which have needed to be widened another 25mm, I reckon you'd have to go for a 265 profile and some fairly serious camber to get -10 ET 12 inch rims under 30mm overfenders and even then it'll be a struggle

Stanton had 50mm overfenders with 265 on ET-3 IIRC, so your looking at 7mm lower offset with 20mm less arch clearance than this

    Edit, heres a pic,

I know of a 14a, on stock rear arches, running 18 x 12" ET-4 on the rear with, wait for it, 255 tyres.

    Pics or it didn't happen
    How much camber?!

Gotta have a flare equivalent to Billy's old one - completely forgetting the Rim size, as that's not as important as tyre, a 255 on a -5 is a bit of an ask!

It's project Stupid MKII, isn't it

I know that car too mate, Its running massive camber at the moment but once the arch flares have finished that should be sorted out its the tyres that make the fitment a piece of p1ss really

I need to see pics of these outlandish claims - Ken needs what is effectively a 75mm overfender to fit something thats 15mm narrower so unless you are running immense (and silly) camber you need extreme archwork.

They would fit on the back of my Z33 though, but in fairness thats had 80mm arch extensions too .......

    No point really
That's not stance - that's figure chasing for points. Totally lost sight of making a car sit well imho.

I'm all for stretch, and I'm all for flushness and tucking, but that just looks ott and cartoonish to my eyes. If that's the look the owner's going for, fair do's, but to me? Not right.
