    I had et-15 18x10 225.40.18 on 30mm overfenders with .9 degrees of camber..

so you'd be 5mm further in, due to offset but 20mm further out due to tyre width (265 minimum I would say)

even with 4 degrees of camber (working on the rule of thumb that on an 18" 1 degree = 6mm at the top of the wheel, that would *just* work, but thats silly camber on the rear

if your willing to adapt the arch why not just sell the +30 overs and get some 50's it will make this whole process a lot easier

to me that car is close but no cigar. needs wider arches and wider tyres on the rear, doesnt even look like the beard has reached the rim, would want to put it under alot of lateral load, it would probably pop off.

The other thing you can do (which i just have) is use the driftworks lower arms wound in as far as they ll go to reduce overall track, use a 255 tyre and just under 1degree of neg camber (you ll need adjustable toe arms and camber arms to offset the lower arms) and your in
i m 12j ish et-18 although it is an s13, and my flares are 60mm but the tyre is now 30mm inside the arch whereas before it was only 5mm inside with 3.5 degrees of neg camber (absolute toss handling for anyone thats interested)

    Lewy, Great inspiration!

I did wonder about what arms i could get that would help to reduce track to sneak them in!

I may just sell the +30's and get +50's alot easier option!

The only other thing i had thought about was inner clearance to the coilover, any of you 12j guys experienced any fitting issues there?

    Cheers!

    Cheers

From my measurements i have done any 12j wheel with an offset lower than +12 should clear the coilovers fine and as long as the tyres and massive aswell

Someone should be able to confirm

These wheels have been puchased, I'm going to put up a build thread of my car so far soon anyway so will incorporate fitting these to that,

Thanks for helping me spend loads of money (it'll be worth it)

Not to terrible after all, i 'made an offer' for £600 of which he accepted and delivery to my door for £150

So all in £750 for split rim Veilsides in awsome fitment isn't too bad, especially as i was contemplating the new Rota GTR-D in a 12j and their £350 a wheel

    I happy

Are they coming from the U.K.? if not you may get caught for import tax and duty, still not a bad price for a pair of decent rims though

The trader does mark it as a 'low cost gift' and he said they have got through before, here's to hoping!

dont think he will be interested as they are 17"s and the fronts are a bit weak

not sure what they came off... was a big language barrier when buying them
