Just been to a tyre place and they said it was too near the edge.
Just been to a tyre place and they said it was too near the edge.
Is it leaking air?
Its borderline there! i would say it should be ok though.
You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
unsure as to how close to the tyre wall they can go
Not leaking air just concerned that one day it might decide to come out whilst doing silly speeds and that would be bad.
That (from what I have been told) is not plugable. Far too close to the edge.
i would plug it.if it was say a fiesta, but something like my 200 i would say no
I wouldnt... others would. Personally i would buy a new one
I think that will be to close to the edge to plug to be honest mate
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
Definitely too close, no tyre place I know of would touch it.
Tyre places wont plug it as its not in the middle 3/4
In my hatch I had 4 of these in one tyre at one point

work great but that car gets driven normally, on the sx i would and just have changed the tyre on a identical puncture
Thanks chaps. Will fit a new one.
Looks to close to me. As I see it, if it's in the outside set of groves it's unplugable unless it's on the very inside.
At the end of the day, it's cheaper to get a new tyre than a new car.
none repairable if its punctured anyone that repairs it needs shooting
Repaired worst, but then they it not for road use.
Lets make it 4 in a row , repaired worse and it got tested to 150 mph without blowing , ex rally driver in a t5 testing my emergency repair just for shits and giggles
