    what ive been up to since i sold the 200

    ok the names geoff I'm from south london, mitcham to be exact ( so any locals say hello)

    have been trying to get rid of my 200 and ended up with this little gem, and as ive wanted an 86 for a long time I was rather chuffed

    want to do a few bits too it, but its been a hoot so far. I can only hope there are a few meets that we all do? and I really do hope this is a lively comunity(just like the old ford one I used to be in)
    spec and pics

    Ae86 shell seem welded 1985 steel wide arches at rear 4" and 2" front (standard) all hole welded in for strength
    Coolkits body kit in silver widened rear bumper to match the arches,skirts trimmed to fit.
    Wheels are 15x8 front and rears
    Also have x2 15x10" steel banded wheels for track use fitted with yokohamas 205 50 15
    8 degree steering lock kit (gives you more angle of steer)
    Driftworks adj tie rods
    Whiteline adj panard rod
    Cusco camber adj topmounts
    Coilover adj fronts teinko shocks all round
    Strut brace
    Driftworks drivers seat 2 months old. standard passenger.
    Hydro h'brake and drifters handbrake
    Guages are oil press, water temp and volts
    Nardi steering wheel
    6 point roll cage (jap unknown make) shaped to car and braced to pillars of car
    TRD quickshift standard 5 speed box (thrust bearing bit noisy)
    4 paddle clutch (no slipping)
    Digital dash (rare old type)
    Electric mirrors and windows, heated rear window
    Electric cooling fan (on switch)
    Air filter with polished alloy intake
    Trophi blue intake and cam cover. Polish s/s spark plug cover(new)
    Jasma s/s tubular downpipe in to decatpipe into s/s system 3" tailpipe
    Engine earthing kit
    Brake servo strentghening/cooling kit
    Trd rad cap

    little update, ive started to paint the floor , fitted the sleepy eye kit and made custom rails for the red cobra's with help from a friend called steve (ratman) mucho thanks to him

    ill take some more when its light




    the seat was in to add weight with the snow were having:twisted:






    and then I took a rather nice pic I thought


    next up a winky eye kit ( home made) and finish the floor

    Those rear arches ruin it IMO.

    I like that... needs the bumpers painting white etc and the rear arches don't look right.

    Did you fit in what i sold you yet?

    You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

    And if you can't fix it with a hammer,you've got an electrical problem!

    sweet! thats the nicest 86 'loon ive seen!

    i remember seeing one years ago being driven by a ~60yr old full of house stuff, back then i didnt fully realise what it was. Random.

    i almost went from a 200 to a hatchi, i love em and will hopfully own one 1 day, i remember seeing that on DW with the big dished wheels.

    cool little retro ride, will keep an eye on this one
