    Thanks Gerry,

So today I collected the throttle body and the radiator from http://www.ospreymetalfinishers.co.uk/ who have done a fantastic job on getting them to shine. They also did the polishing to the turbo compressor housing.

I'm loving the polished look against the damson .

Thank you. Might have gone a little too far with some of the bits lol.

    Throttle body all fitted.

Power steering resevoir fitted along with some new lines from SFS Performance.

Fitted some new fuel lines under the throttle body.

Spent a while making up some brackets for the bottom of the radiator and got it a bit wrong so ended up leaving that and just fitted the new powder coated bonnet stay.

I did a few other bits but nothing worth taking any photos of.

    More updates coming soon.

Made the most of the nice warm sun today and got some parts cleaned up and painted. These aren't perfect by any means but they are miles better than they were.

Mixed up some more Damson .

Laid the first coat down .

Put another coat down followed by two coats of 2k laquer.

Painted a couple of other brackets in Hammerite as these aren't seen so want them black.

Horns also got a coat of Hammerite so they look a little neater.

Bonnet catch got a nice freshen up as well .

Also, I sorted out the cold side intercooler pipe. Need to order a different size pipe for the hot side before I can finish that up.

Then also, my mate Paul finished off the relocation of the fuse box and we mocked up a panel to fit everything to. This will be remade out of something non conductive before any power is put through it.

Thank you. What colour did you do yours?

Fitted the front supports last night with some rivnuts so they can be removed if ever needed.

    Bonnet catch came out ok.

    It's getting dusty already .

Looks great mate, I genuinely ought this car would end up getting broken at one stage but kudos to you.

Ha ha! I'm totally obsessed with rivnuts. I have them all over the 200 and on the very same supports you just posted.

This build is so good, i've dipped in and out for a while but thought i'd register a comment so i stay subscribed!

I also came across the same problem with the arp head studs you fitted a few pages back. Although mine weren't as uneven as yours when wound all the way down they weren't even! So knowing i'd read your experience and what you did to sort it helped massively getting mine fitted properly

I'm far too stubborn to give up on anything. It took a back seat for a long time but it was never going to be broken.

Cheers Adam, it's good to hear at least one thing in this build has helped someone else out.

I know exactly what you mean about things taking longer than planned lol, This was supposed to be a 6 month rebuild.......over 2 and a half years now lol.
