    misses when cold high rev range

    hi peeps slight problem thats nigging me when i start my car and idle for a couple of mins before i set off. when i set off put my foot down it seems rather laggy and when you hit higher rev range it seems to miss pop and bangs and holds back but this is only a problem when cold after a drive of 5-10 minutes and i turn car if for 20 mins and start driving again it is fine any ideas i was guessin plugs or coilpacks but i replaced plugs not long ago any help appriceated

    Firstly you don't really want to be reving a cold engine more than you absolutley have too.

    Do you mean that you need to turn it off before it clears or it naturally clears after some time of driving it? Do you have a Consult lead? If so may be worth checking to see what the Coolant tempature sensor is up too.

    i give it time to warm up til the water in the engine is warm and i can drive it about fine its only if i go to give it the large lol that it seems to hold back and then pop and bang and hold back if i dont boot it it drives fine no misses is all good ??

    you want to give it time before the OIL is warm.... water temp dont mean shit

    but... sounds like:

    one or more of the below:
    boost leak
    plugs
    coil packs

    still on the standard wing mount intercooler or dv?

    not fited it yet but wouldnt explain why only when cold would it ? plenty of smooth power when warm

    considering you're 'giving it large on a cold engine' I'd be more concerned about letting it warm up first, they don't tend to last long when battered about cold.

    pop and bang when on throttle or as you come off?

    i let the car warm up people i stated this in all my posts i dont cain the car im not a boy racer the car pops slightly on throttle
