Regardless of what happens, 100% do not scrap it! There is no need considering S13 values these days running or otherwise. Running CAs go for 300-400 and as far as engine changes go they are pretty easy. As above it will either be rings, stem seals or turbo.

have bought some Forte Seal conditioner in the hope of softening the seals to resolve the problem. Will then flush & change oil. Any idea what a two-tone might be worth - only issues are smoking & bubbling of rear arches- I've had it 13 years but been off road for last 5 indoors- has original wheels & facelift (teardrop?) wheels , standard interior plus set of leather seats, manual, no sunroof, 140k miles approx?

All original inside & under bonnet- originally owned by someone who worked at Middlehurst Motorsport - Nissan dealers in St Helens, Merseyside.

Value will largely depend on condition, throw up some pics and you'll get a good variety of ideas I suspect

Was there ever a Maroon/Grey two tone? I may be thinking of some other late 80s car.

Nah. Mint green over charcoal grey was only UK 2 tone option you could buy.

There is only ONE of these but you wouldn't be buying it.

KG1 Platinum Blue Metallic/Sterling Blue Metallic
It was the very 1st one imported, VIN number JN100RS13U0000007

    Other rare colours

43 LK0 Gray Amethyst 2nd year of facelift VIN start 22nnnn

45 FG0 Silver green 1st year facelift VIN start 20nnnn

68 KG4 Sandstone Beige 2nd year of facelift VIN start 22nnnn

135 DH0 Juniper Green last year of prod only (urgh, sort of metallic green with foul brown lacquer) VIN start 2295nn/230nnn

209 TK3 Sapphire Blue last year of prod only VIN as above (stunning metallic blue hidden by smoky black lacquer unless seen with light directly behind - I've got a pair)

    model RS13FTQR47
Five speed, Turbo, Q no cat, R anti lock

270th made in 2 tone Mint and Charcoal. Production was Aug 1989. It was the 18th of 20 Mint/Char they made that month. 40 1989 cars are taxed out of over 3400 made. Even though there are possibly only 4 2 tone left on the road it's most unlikely to be oldest, it's very late in order of Mint/Char ones made.

Def not if you count 120 SORN, I need to get 20 foot of welding done on 004731 (51st 2 tone) and put an engine in it. £150 in 2003 with a spun shell. The only vehicle I've ever had with a name, it's called "Donor" but nearly everything got given back 7 years ago.
