How rare are these now? anyone know how many were sold & and how many still on road & how are they viewed compared to standard single colours?

Very rare, I only know of about 7 or 8 now. They were one of the first s13's and only available in pre-facelift. I imagine it wasn't the most popular colour from the factory but now its easily the best. As far as I know only the silver green pearl over dark mettalic grey was available on the UK cars, the other 2 tone options were jdm/usdm etc only and I'm not 100% sure or not but could have only been on the ps13 as well.

Here's mine plus a few other variations:

They're the best S13, but also the rarest.

I scrapped two green/greys purely because the combo was vile One bonnet was turned into a disposable bbq stand to protect a garden I haven't mowed for at least 10 years

Have seen that. If they're so rare and admired how come it's not gone yet? I realise it's as far north as Norway!!

Two reasons, 1) its really hard to get someone to even come and view a car this north, never mind if it doesn't have an mot or tax. 2) It's winter.. nobody buys cars that need work in winter

I'm really surprised it hasnt gone especially given the good condition of the wheel arches etc. I can vouch for Chall though, I bought my S13 200sx from him about 4 years ago and the engine run brilliantly etc. also he knows what hes doing when it comes to cars being a master mechanic.

there's a lot more pictures of it here: http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=402573

I was half tempted to nip up and grab chall's one myself just to get it welded up and back on the road so another two tone could live on but its just having the time to do it.

yeh 2-tones are sweet, i'm gutted i cant get mine on the road and will be gutted to see it go when someone buys it. Just see what 2010 brings. I have had alot of interest via here and pistonheads and then they realise how far north i am, shame really. Gonna have to resort to Ebay i think...

Ed's one is how i'd like mine to have looked with wheels the same colour as the lower half and as what Dunkz has done to his splits

    cheers dave for the words

    Theres a 2-tone silvia in Initial-D too

330 Green/Grey colour code 5G7 came into UK as RS13U all are pre-facelift. None of the other 2 tone colours are UK spec and will only be found on imported Silvia/180SX.

    52 are series 1 S/N JN100RS13U01xxxxx, these will usually be H reg.
the other 278 are series 0, S/N JN100RS13U00xxxxx, these will usually be G reg.

My parts donor is G reg green/grey, £150 6 years ago.

Read FAST data into Excel, then used countif(col,"5G7").

Trouble is the Vin data which has the colour codes is for every car they ever imported so it all has to be read to extract the few 200's.
