The next racecar.... Integra Type R

Well, as the Silvia went in bits, Ive had t replace it with something for next year.

After a long trek to Scotland - trailer in tow to get a car that turned out to be a lemon, I picked this up today from Stoke.

Its a pretty std JDM car (197bhp), imported March this year, but almost a shame to race it - its mint Got a few little mods, inc a Genuine Mugen Twin Loop exhaust which is nice and quiet, until VTEC 98 Spec wheels, engine damper, strut braces, new clutch and lightweight flywheel....

Got a full Jap service history, done 69k miles, had new cam belt at 62k. Paintwork is unmarked, with no rust...

Watch this space as the mods get added and the car gets prepped, although I may do the stripping and cage last so I can use itfor a road car for a bit

As Johnny said, sad news about the 200, but Teg's are designed to be ragged. that'll be sweet on the track - good luck with her

OEM JDM ITR wheels, but Rota do have a version!

That teg looks really nice. It's worth having a chat with Julian, IIRC he used to race one

Nice new car! good to see it comes with a few spare bumpers
Why was the 14 shell crushed? was it rotten???

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

how come you scrapped the silvia shell? I'd have thought it'd be much less rusty than most peoples cars?

Shell was mint, and totally rust free. However, Ive seen good, rolling shells not sell even when advertised for peanuts. This shell wasnt rolling as I removed all suspension and hubs and I had no means of storage, or moving it if someone did want it.

..plus I did get some money for weighing it in
