surely someone can do it? only needs tacking together on the car and then can be taken elsewhere

make sure the flexible is on the vertical plane not the horizontal, as i said on the day id put it in place of the flange and make it all one piece

What are you doing with this exhaust then Mark? I'm intrigued now you've commented on my PSM!

yeh i think thats the plan, replace the flanges make it one piece. so flexi then to downpipe then to silencer then the rest of the exhuast. fun times.

should be alright i wont have a problem splitting it to take somewhere. might get paul to take it into his work and get him to do it.

the plan is basically to make the same thing by adding a flexi section in the upright.

it allows the exhaust to be raised for much lowness and also gives the play needed to get it all to fight as its mm's out at the minute

Put the clocks back in today and took some fresh engine bay pics of how it currently stands. Flexible and silencer are in the post they'll be here next week then it's tidy car out and time to start going over the car doing finishing touches. Gauges need mounting and wiring up. And there's a shit load of crap in the car from z009 and general crap. Fun times

Why not? It'll look lovely all clean and shiny. Mine is a track car too and I intend to keep it clean. Will help you trace fluid leaks too. Up to you but track cars can (and should) be loved too.

So cut shut and welded the old downpipe and elbow. Went well, though with the silencer it's a tad too low now. Going to need some super stiff exhaust hangars so links and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The end result is awesome it's knocked it down to under 100 db and sounds much smoother and nicer than just the APEX exhaust
