    World Championship Snooker 2013

It's that time again where the select few of the SXOC watch two weeks of snooker. After last years tournament, can Ronnie make it back to back victories?

    Starts at 10:00am tomorrow.

Cheeky bet again after last years victory at 7/1 for Ronnie.

Good odds for Ronnie, but don't think he can do it this year

The odds have gone down now. I put the bet on as soon as he announced his return. Would be brilliant if he could do it again though. Starting now on BBC 2.

Was just about to start a thread, good job I searched

Ronnie about to break off I've got £15 on him for the tournament, which is a brave one, but if anyone is capable, it's him!

Really? I looked about 3 months ago and it was about £20-£25 a session if I remember right. I've been promising myself for 12 years now one year I'll go, one year. Just wish I'd bought tickets when I saw them, always end up leaving it then forgetting.

On another note, Ronnie is looking almost like he's had no time off only he can keep me in from the sun

Decent start from Ronnie so far. I'd love to go myself but I couldn't justify the expense either. I will go to a final at some point. Just wish it was from 10-15 years ago.

And because of those 2 excellent clearances before the interval, he's now been made clear favourite for the tournament, certainly on Bet365. I loved his comment about being made favourite after a year out and the other guys needing to sort their heads out

I remember looking a few times over the past couple of years and the prices were ridiculous. Unless I was looking at package deals, they were going into the hundreds of pounds bracket. Just had a quick look now and they are cheap as chips. Definitely planning a trip for next year.

Yea I think I'm going to make a point of going next year - I'd be happy with a day like today, but of course semi-final or final would be better. Would be awesome to make a proper weekend of it on the final weekend. For me it's been about distance, Sheffield is a galactical distance from Cornwall

That will only have been because a lot of people put money on him afterwards.

Easy victory for Ronnie. Not back to his ultimate best, but not bad going considering he's only played one competitive match ll year.

Must say I was impressed with Matthew White. Looked a bit shakey before he got the 8th frame on the board. Knocking out Mark Williams in the first round is no small feat. esp at your first World Championships.

Mark Williams and now John Higgins out. Just the small matter of Judd Trump, Selby and Robertson for Ronnie to deal with. Could be anyone's tournament now.

Another seed gone as Robertson vows out. Could be a first time winner this year. Poomjaeng is a comedian.

So that's Selby gone too. Not many of the big names still standing!
