I noticed this with an RB - I think it actually helps the balance of the car which goes against what I would have expected. The 4-pot being so far back I think in the original configuration actually promotes understeer; I mean, the whole engine is practically behind the front axle, it's nearly mid-engined if you think about it

only time ive ever had understeer with the rb was one blistering cold wet morning at brands hatch, the track was basically an ice rink, other than that it feels planted, even with no weight in the back

I've always thought my 180 was a bit understeery, maybe the solution is to put an RB in it lol.

Rb is always the solution. Great noise, great balance and a better mpg too. Lol

Update on the throttle body/idle/throttle issues.
It looks like the issue is the pin that goes into the sensor. It's 0.1mm to small..so when I press the throttle it's already open when it starts turning the tps. Giving a massive flat spot followed by massive fuel dump. Likewise it would slip and not allow it to fully shut either.
I've temporarily solved it by wrapping the spindle in electrical tape (which happens to be 0.1mm thick) and now it opens and closes and gives correct voltages. The throttle still jams a bit...but at least it shuts off the injection off throttle.

So I finally got the car back...so took the chance to get some pics with the pimp wheels...before the new owner took em (sale has kinda fallen through)...or the car broke again (and it did).
Images are stolen from his FB page...so quality is not best.

See here for originals..and pics of awesome car stuff: https://www.facebook.com/meesmedias/?fref=ts

Since taking these. we found my clutch is ok afterall...we just never removed auto spigot/bush/SOB thing..YAY!
then my turbo decided to start leaking oil...so its off being looked at....Boo

oh..and wheel sale has possibly fallen through...so if you want to buy these...let me know :-)

So..updates...things have not being going to plan...We sorted my clutch issue (was the spigot bush we didn't know had to come out).
then the turbo shat itself :-(...off to owens it went...a month later I got my new hybrid from them...turns out..totally new..none of it is my original..as they still even now....have not stripped it and inspected it as I originally asked....

Got the turbo fitted...with lots of swearing due to the oil feed being different to oem.
Also gave it a new walbro and a z32 fuel filter while I was at it.....

Then its started running lean at idle...found an air leak in the new throttle body..in an unfix-able place...so buying an oem and giving up.

On a plus note....these shoud arrive in 2 days:

Awesome. One hell of a car this is now. The desire for an RB builds everytime I look at it
