Didn't you just buy some 17 or 18 drag tyres?

Best we could do is 15x10 steels... would they appeal?

    You're nuts!

Brake clearance on standard brakes will be fine. They are 19 offset, but a +19 so properly lairy...

They're about £55 each to you matey

+19 ? So is that sticky in or sticky out? (don't understand offsets)?

    Sticky out!

Offset is how far the centreline of the wheel is in or out of the hub. Minus offset is towards the car, think of it as less mms from the car, Plus offsets are further from the car, thus more mms

The confusing but I guess is minus offsets with high numbers, this just means they are sitting really close to the car

    Sorry for the thread hijack...

So, I currently have R32 GTR wheels which are 16x8 ET30 (i think!),

If my maths is correct then to keep them sticking out the same but add some width I would need 15x9.5 ET-8,

Does that make sense and is such a wheel (or close to it) available?

id be really interested in some wide 15" wheels like a set of RBs with more dish... but id like em in 4x114. but id run em on the front aswell and they would need to clear 4 pot 280mm discs...

Ben, you've got it the wrong way round - negative offsets is big sticky outy, positive offsets is more inwardsy

a 10j et19 is do-able on the rear of a stock arched S14 with some archwork and something like a 255/265, a 10t et19 will be a LOT more aggressive - like getting on for 2 inches more sticky outy

I need to run the tyres above..... 315/60/15 on 9.5J rims with standard S14 arches..... so what ET do I need etc.... (am assuming my calculations are not correct above now)

9.5 is the correct width rim for these tyres (i'm currently running 255's on 8J rims)

Sorry for my stupidness there then chaps...

I am waiting on confirming pricing and availability for these steels.

Being as there are a few of you... we could commission a wheel for you if there's enough who need them in the same size... any thoughts?
