Over the weekend made quite a bit of progress Wishbones on, droplinks and Rod ends connected and driveshafts fitted. Also fitted the PAS hoses and pot and filled with fluid.

and then today fitted the wings and the coolant circuit with tank.

But then when changing the oil filter I sotted this

It actually looks like its coming from above the water pump so tomorrow I am going to take the alternator off to try and get a better look but it could mean the belt cover has to come off at least

I keep scrolling through waiting for the "Oh f**k, I forgot to put x back in. The whole lots got to come out again" post - or one of my style - "Whats this bit for?/where did these go/why do I have a big pile of wires and stuff left over

Good job Mark I really must get on with doing some of the bits on my car...

    Good job mate,

That's an awesome (and very timely) bit of work

Wish 200s were as easy to work on!

Easier to just buy a FRP in the first place

You will pay £1500-£2k for a FRP engine and its 30 extra ponies

You can pay £600 for a average mileage (60k) 1.7 as the boys buy them to stick in Fiestas

Nice little side project mate. I've got a Mk4 Fiesta with a 1.7 puma lump and done that swap about 7 or 8 times now. Great little revving engine that (from my experience) just keep on going.
