Result. Nice one Chris.
Reminds me, I still need to send that boost leak test kit down to you.
Cheers mate, felt strange driving it again. It now has tax as well so is fully road legal again
Cheers mate, what was up with yours?
Cheers daz no rush with the kit mate, you have other things on your mind at the moment. Hope both of your necks are recovering

What were to advisories then? You cant say there were 3 and not what they were...
.Slight power steering leak
.Blowing exhaust (De-cat was only finger tight when I removed it a min ago )
.Wheels/tyres protruding past the bodywork

Well I've broken it again
It's been running great but last night while I was out for a spirited drive I sprung a water leak. I'm not sure if the leak is from the bottom rad hose or the rad itself but the entire contents of the radiator is now on the road beneath my car I'll have a look on sunday and if needs be I'll refit the standard rad until I can fix my japspeed rad or afford to buy a koyo

shame on the leak mate, car is looking stunning, really love this car, took my car in for a MOT and its majorly fail'd big time. have a 3 page list
Cheers kam. What has yours actually failed on then?

Kam, the guy that did Chris' welding will probably do any work you need doing quite cheaply.
Most of that is simple. Your tints are too dark I guess?
Handbrake is screwed because your rear calipers are seized at a guess. Ball joints and brake lines are prob the most tricky tbh.
You can refurb the calipers or get some ready refurbed ones from db power if funds allow
Ollie your brother mentioned he's pretty busy at the moment else I'd of most likely got him to fit my new rear brakes for me

hmmm well, when i get the chance i think il contact you super monkey. orderd some braided brake lines today, so hopefully that will sort one of the problems out
Shock horror an update!!
Since the mot I have sprung a coolant leak which I'm sure it the bottom rad hose. Will pick up some silicone hoses soon but that can wait til pay day
Today also saw the long awaited fitting of my rear z32 brake upgrade. The complete set up has been sat in my garage for the best part of two years now
Fitting was going well righ up to the point of fitting the braided hoses. While tightening the hose up the fitting on the hose itself snapped in half It's an easy fix but it does mean that instead of being able to give them a test I'm now sat waiting for the hoses to arrive with the car immobile again.
Anyway here is a couple of pics
I've also picked up a new daily which needs a little attention so this is why the sx has been on the back burner for a while.

liking the new daily, did you find out what was wrong with it?
Cheers mate Fixed 50% of the problems. New coolant temp sensor fitted (still needs a new stat as it runs too cold) fixed the boot sensor also.
Still not sure on the start issue. I can't help but think it's fuel related but a mechanic mate of mine thinks it could be the starter motor

take the starter motor out and refit! bet that fixes it!
200 is looking awesome though, that's the thing that frustrates me is that when a job goes wrong the car is not usable
