i cant see the point changing the BMC if you have uprated front brakes.
im not gonna bother.

The point of the larger BMC is that you move more fluid to the brakes with less pedal effort. GTR brakes hold much more fluid than standard S14 brakes so you have to provide more pedal effort (and get less feel imo) to get the same amount of braking force.
Personal choice, but it's much nicer having the tighter pedal when pressing on imo
I may look in to this in time then. Tbh I'd love the pedal to be firm so this sounds like it would be worthwhile

Chris,
how are you finding the stage 3a? you were running stage 1 without the chip before weren't you? Would you recommend the jump to stage 3a?
I'm trying to decide what route to take with the power for mine.
Loving the car, it's really coming along nicely.
Daz
I still haven't made the jump as of yet daz I will be going from a badly setup stage1 minus chip (max power @7k) to a hopefully well setup 3a.
I'm hoping the difference will be noticable

ah right, I thought you had for some reason. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it.
Mines making 285bhp 250ft/lb at the moment so I'm wondering how much more I'd enjoy about 350bhp lol.
do you mind me asking how much all the bits for the engine work has set you back, ie, injectors, Z32 AFM etc.
Cheers
No problem mate. So far I've spent
Injectors - £250
Z32 AFM & plug - £90
Metal intake pipe to fit z32 AFM - £50
Injector O-rings - £20
Still need t2871r ~£850, adjustable actuator £50 - £150, manifold £150 and chip
Got the money for the above but need to find time to get all the parts and booked in to be fitted/checked

The turbo is a fair chunk of money. It's a shame that turbo dinamics don't do the Sxoc discount anymore.

I actually did some work on the car yesterday
After about 6 months I have finally got around to fitting my new steering rack bushes I can now actually feel what the front wheels are doing which is reassuring.
I also took the opportunity to test fit my new 17" winter/track wheels which I got off monkey magic

They sit pretty nicely for some winter wheels
Cheers mate. Theirs a 15mm spacer on the front also making them et15. I'll have to get a 15/20mm bolt on spacer for the rear as well I think

Love the zeits buddy
Cars looking good
Cheers mate, I'm waiting for the abuse to start tho. Most people would use original jdm wheels as their main rims and rotas as winter rims, not the other way around like me
