What "stage" is it at and will be without going through all 23 pages!? Saying that, this stages lark means sod all to me, I just like a list of mods and the power output!

If you want to figure out what the stages mean check out the Horsham developments website It's all to do with his chips.

I'm going for stage 3a which should see around 360bhp

Nice, it'll be fairly lively with 360bhp.

360bhp Get on my son lol

Your car is starting to progress nicely Have you budgeted for a spare gearbox or z32/r33 conversion? Might be a good idea as that sort of power munches boxes, suppose it depends how you hard you drive though and I expect you will when you try to keep up with my yamaha powahs

Pffft don't drive that hard, was a nice leisurely drive back from Dartmoor wasn't it

If you treat it nicely commuting yeah sure the box should be fine but where's the fun in that

It'll be fun saying to Teggers and his collapsing 0.00004bar apexi mind

Dartmoor was fun Think that teggers has plans also, but in the mean time it'll be fun winding him up a little

Firm but good. I think a lot of people would say they are too firm for a daily tho. I don't do that many miles tho so the stiffness isn't an issue to me

    Mini update.

Finally managed to get my grubby hands on a kouki grille

Car needs a good clean in that picture but you get the idea

Also just picked up a metal intake pipe to fit the z32 afm.

Just the turbo, manifold and remap and stage 3 here we come

I had a go at removing the pinstripe that the previous owner fitted last week (has only taken me 3 years to get around to it ) The first side came off easy but when I tackled the second side this happened

I'll have a go at pollishing it out with my mop and some cutting compound but I have a feeling that the door and front wing will need a respray

Also just found this pic from the south west RR day earlier this month

    Only made 250bhp tho

    Been collecting yet more parts

Is it worth getting a skyline/z32 bmc to run with this break set up or will the standard bmc be fine??

Progress has been a little bit slow of late as I have been fixing my landy (well saving to pay for it )

Still atleast it'll be back on the road soon and I can concentrate on the datsun again, see if you can spot the new part

I payed a visit to monkey magic today to pick up some spare rims that I plan to use as winter/track wheels.

They are 17/8.5J/5x114, Offset 33 Zeit-R's. Yes I know the offset police wont be happy but they seem an ideal size for what I want but I've just had a nasty feeling they may not fit over my breaks on the front

    Time will tell I guess...

I'd get a Z32 BMC for it. Have you still got standard front calipers at the minute?

    Makes the pedal much firmer

I do still have the standard calipers on the front at the moment but am tempted to swap them for some wilwoods

Does the bmc make much difference then?

Made a hell of a difference on my 13 when I had S14 calipers up front. Mind you I removed the ABS at the same time, but the pedal feel was much nicer.

I remember putting VTi brakes on the front of my old civic and using the standard BMC and the pedal was crap afterwards. Lots more travel before the brakes actually bit properly and it was quite vague.

    Definitely a worth while improvement

Wilwoods are a good shout too

For another braking opinion I can say I never changed my BMC, with Z32 rears and 6-pots up front, and it was still brilliant, the trick is to have calipers in good condition, braided lines, bmc stopper and good fluid.

When I went up to Brembo 8s I got a bit more pedal travel, I am yet to determine the cause though.
