Spot on! Getting mine in a garage has been one of the best things for the car.

Nice Chris! Wish I could get mine in one of our garages, both of ours are filled with useless shit that my old man won't part with!

I was renting a council lock up which kept it out the way but the was less than ideal and leaked. Having a garage was a must with the new house.

Doubt it'll get insulated etc I the short term tbh although I do have new double glazing and door going in soon

Think I'll wait a while before a full blown car day

Planning to drag race the car this weekend so decided to fit the grippy tyres and weak offset rims in preparation.

Took it out for a quick test and this happened

Luckily I wasn't going too quick at the time but it's not ideal for Saturday. Hopefully get it off the car tonight and refitted with some borrowed springs in time.

Hsd's and age I think tbh. Looks like it's been snapped a while so not too sure what happened.

This worries me as my hsd's are pretty old :/

Cheers mate, garage isn't the biggest but it's just about big enough to work in

Got the dmax lights just before they got discontinued I believe

Should prob post some more recent pictures.

I found the snapped spring on the Tuesday/Wednesday and was due to be drag racing on the Saturday so set about getting it fixed.

    Stripped down

Rebuilt thanks to a local member who loaned me his spare springs

second side underway, so nice to be able to work inside finally especially as the only time I had was after work at 10pm

Back on the road and test driven at 9pm on the Friday before the drag racing

So I made it to the drag racing and after a 2 hour queue to sign on I finally got to make some runs

In hindsight I should probably of kept my road tyres on as it was pretty cold on the day and my AO48's were getting no heat in to them even with a mini burnout and I was struggling with grip off the line. Sadly even though I've got launch control fitted I have a problem with my RLTC which means it's not currently working else this could of helped make up for my lack of grip.

Even so I had a good day and ended up 0.01 seconds quicker than my mate who took his wifes bmw up the strip. Not bad for an 18 year old car not running it's best

With everything working as it should I would like to get in to the 12's which i think would be decent for my power on an unprepared former aerodrome...

Been having problems with my rltc so Austen a local member on here took a look at it for me.

Everything looked fine with no issues with the abs sensors or rltc wiring. Best guess the rltc ecu has reset back to factory settings so hopefully configuring it again will sort it out.

RLTC issue is most likely hardware mate.

I'd have a look if you were nearer.

That's what I fear tbh. It still works to a point but cuts in aggressively on every setting, so much so it's undrivable. I'll get it plugged in to a laptop asap to check as the battery has been out of the car and then maybe look in to sending it off if it's still playing up and as long as they still fix these units.

Looks like they're stopping doing anything with RLTC now at the supplier, which is annoying. Hopefully if there is a problem they can still repair them, but more hopefully like you say it's just settings, and it can be poked back into life!
