Today I finally got my temp gauge working after just over a year . The stack pro control gauge is so nice I may swap out my others when funds allow. This job would of been easier if I didn't have the gauge mounted in the door thus requiring all the wires to be fed through the door shut.

Just got to plumb in the other two now

Also started looking into where I can fit the oil filter relocation kit. I'm tempted to fit it either below the plenum or in a similar position but mounted to the BMC stopper.

Today was all about alignment. I took the car to my mate work so he could have a go at setting it up. It was quite possibly the worst 10mins I've spent in the car too, the car was horrid to drive due to the alignment.

After a bit of work and a bit of last min research I settled on mitto' street/daily settings.

After struggling to get the car on the ramps and having to remove the exhaust as it was getting in the way of the laser we were here

    Supermonkeykong will love this pic

The car is now transformed. Turn in is now super sharp and fast which will take some getting used to but I already have more confidence than ever before!! The new bushes are noticeably less sloppy which in turn seems to allow the coilovers to do there job too as the car now seems less crashy

While at my mates I got him to give all my work a once over to check for daft errors which thankfully weren't numerous this did give the opportunity to have a poke around on the ramp.

Also removed the diff cooler then wire brushed and painted the area although got no pictures.

All the underseal still looks good

Thanks Not sure exactly. I went in to the powdercoaters with a colour sample and got them to match it.

Mine was just a generic schutz that they use on Isuzu pickups. The 3m stuff should be fine

No, prob should of but we just wire wheeled everything primed then under sealed.

The car is now a lot more capable but unfortunately I'm still slow

    I can Haz racecar

The other car is a modified S3 with 300/350 bhp/ftlbs so not shy. Managed a 14.07 @ 105 which I thinks okay for a first attempt and in the wet.

Was a good day all be it a bit short due to the weather and failing clutch. Will try and make the next one for sure.

A little twitchy but not too bad. Breaking at the end was the worst part plus I kept letting off a few meters before the end

It's inbetween Taunton and honiton in Devon. They do about 5 a year iirc. Can't do any specific days as they have a limit on the number of events they can hold a year. Want to get a group of people to a couple next year though
