Will have to see when next drag and drifts are. Either smeatharpe or spitfire one.

Some freshness
Also had it’s first wash in nearly a year
Can’t test drive it yet though as it has a large water leak under the plenum

Looking good mate, hope the new coilovers give you a smoother ride!
Thanks mate, can already tell they're a lot softer just bouncing the car to settle the suspension. Hopefully it doesn't rub too badly.

I had 4 people in the car on Saturday night and wow she rubs, on my own usually I get a bit mainly off the screws that hold the arch liner tabs in place but on Saturday it was every 15 seconds. Don't really want to raise it up though.
I might need to when i change tyres though, looking to go from the stretched 235/40/18 to 245/40/18 all round if I can. Hopefully it won't be an expensive experiment and it will work out ok.
My arches are pretty flared at the back but it may need a tickle with an arch roller. Fronts have no arch liners anymore so should be golden there.
How did you manage to squeeze 4 people in to the car anyway, my back seats are purely for show

My HSD's were 4/5's and did have any rubbing at all so you should be ok.
I've had 4 in the car before. When people are too cheap to pay for a taxi generally they will squeeze in I was nice and put my seat forward though.
Hows your rim to coilover clearance up front? I was hoping to get rid of my 10mm H&R spacer as the apex are slimmer than the HSD's but its still too tight, running 18x10 effective et 10 on mine.

I'm running 10j et12 up front and there isn't a huge amount of space still.

Ah right ok.
Will be interested to hear what its like to drive when you've fixed the issue
Will let you know. Hopefully won’t be too long as it’s off for mapping next month and I need to get more miles under its belt first

And it’s in bits again, stripped the intake to chase a water leak, problem is I can’t see any split hoses etc. While it’s off I’m tempted to simplify the nest of hoses as much as possible although I’m not really sure where to start.
Borrowed an under bonnet light which helped no end. Need to get myself one of these for sure.

Got the car back together and thankfully the water leak has gone
While the intake was off I bypassed the oil cooler to cut down on possible future leaks.
After driving the car on the new coilovers I’m so much happier with the ride, the car never sees the track so the softer suspension is a godsend. The tears did settle a little too much leaving me with quite a bit of scrubbing. Shame as it looked good at this height
As the car is off to the mappers next week I’ve been doing some preparation. I’ve raised the rear ride height, changed the oil and found time to sand down the rocker cover lettering. It looks so much better
I have also taken the car to grants of wellington to get a once over and some modification to the intercooler pipework due to some large boost leaks
New boost controller solenoid take off
Modified apex intake trunk to remove the recirc take off
Hopefully all goes well next week

Just had a message from the mapper and it's all done bar the cold start, anyone want to guess what power it's running now? it's running the same turbo and injectors as before but 4psi less boost if that helps
Look forward to collecting it tomorrow

2bhp away from the 400bhp mark would be annoying
