I can't stand the standard plate as it seems massive The new plate hardly covers any of the fmic

It looks cracking Chris.
I likey
New plate is deffo better. The old one looked ****
I'll have a look around tonight for you Chris regarding the shoes when I get home, then send you a PM
Looking good mate,
The Plate you have is a Large Import, for a front bumper you need a Small Import to properly fit the front recess of the front bumper Then you will like it
Like so.
Have you chopped the top off that Crouchy?
I think DVLA say there must be a 15mm gap between the font and edge???
Youre such a rebel.
That's how it was when i got it, halfords FTW!
Looks better Chris - did you get it locally ?

Thats more like it mate, looking good the your car was itching for that type of plate
Few little updates
At japfest I picked up my new flywheel off of slider200 which had been lightened and balanced by apt iirc It had been used since the work so while it was out we took the opportunity to give it a quick skim
I also managed to get an ACT heavy duty organic clutch for a bargain price from a mate in the trade (Cheers buddy ) which came with everything you need including an alignment tool, It was then fitted by a local garage for the extremely reasonable rate of £80
All in the clutch kit and fitting cost me pretty the same as what most places charge for just the clutch on it's own which is a result
Clutch kit as it arrived
Parked outside the local garage next to another 14a they were working on
The clutch itself is brilliant. The pedal feels like the oem one did and if anything is a little lighter than my old Exeedy organic was. So far it's taking everything I throw at it as well without even a hint of slip
I've also treated the car to a new set of mats as the old ones were well past their best
Think they look spot on for cheap ebay mats
Couple of pics for the hell of it
Looks like the spray wax is doing it's job

Ur a step ahead of me with the clutch, I have mine and a new flywheel but not fitted yet!
How does it feel now?
It feels quick again Must of been slipping more than I realised The clutch feel and bite is lovely also and seems perfect for every day use
I'm only running 1.2 bar as well so may up that before the rolling road day this month

Good stuff! Keep us posted with that power graph.
Have those mats got the holes in to mount on the floor to stop them moving around Chris?
No Not sure what others are like but in my car only the drivers mat is secured and thats by a single mount in the middle of the mat by the seat. I used a stanly knife to cut a hole and it seems fine

It was the southwest rolling road today so my car found it on the rollers once again. The results were a little better than last time but only by 15bhp
I really need to pressure test the sistem to check for leaks and up the boost from 1.1(ghey) to 1.4 bar When the ebc got set up I was told it was running 1.3 bar but I guess they told me some porky pies
Any way here are the graphs
Looks like I should see a fair few bhp from raising the boost by .3 bar so all is not lost
Few more pics from the day
